Space at Kingston

Kingston University Service Company Ltd (KUSCO) is a specialist service and facilities management company working exclusively for Kingston University. The asked activ to help them promote the universities facilities for use externally for companies, events and accommodation.

Project

Activ conducted a full marketing planning exercise; producing a detailed marketing plan for 12 months and recommendations on all aspects of their marketing implementation. As a result, activ were engaged to implement the recommendations for new branding, website development, social media setup and SEO implementation.

Objectives

Create a new brand that separates KU Conferences from the university, opening the spaces to a wider market and giving more visibility to the spaces on offer.

Outcome

Space at Kingston was developed as a new brand with implementation of the brand across all platforms and marketing material. The new website included greater functionality for exploring the spaces available, booking tours and making enquiries - showcasing what the university had to offer to the wider market. New social media channels were setup and are being managed by activ. The SEO strategy is being implemented to generate leads via Google search. Email marketing provides the team with the ability to maintain and develop relationships with clients and potential new clients.
