The challenge
As this was Eloise’s first website, it was important to create something that reflected both her existing brand and the style she had in mind, while also considering what prospective brides would need from the site.
Although Eloise also offers mobile hairdressing, bridal hair was the priority. The website therefore needed to make this immediately clear, showcase examples of her work and build confidence in her service through strong imagery and feedback from previous clients.
It also needed to be straightforward for Eloise to manage as her portfolio and business continued to grow.
Our approach
We worked closely with Eloise to understand the look she wanted and used her existing branding as the starting point for the design. She supplied the initial content, which we adapted where needed to work more effectively within the website and help visitors quickly understand her services.
Built using WordPress and Elementor and supported by our secure hosting, the site puts Eloise’s bridal work at the centre of the design. We incorporated a portfolio gallery to showcase her work visually, alongside a testimonial carousel to provide reassurance from previous clients.
We also made the portfolio simple for Eloise to update herself, giving her the flexibility to add new work as it becomes available, while knowing that we are there to provide support whenever she needs it.
The results
Eloise now has a professional website that reflects her branding and gives her bridal hair services a dedicated online presence. Potential clients can easily see examples of her work, read feedback from previous customers and get in touch to discuss their wedding.
Importantly, the website has also started doing its job as a marketing tool. Eloise was already receiving enquiries shortly after launch and was particularly pleased with both the finished website and the way we worked together to achieve it.
What this shows
This project is a good example of how we combine a client’s ideas with our own website experience rather than expecting them to fit into a standard template.
Eloise knew how she wanted her business to look and feel. Our role was to listen, advise and turn those ideas into a website that not only reflected her style but also worked effectively for the people she wanted to attract.
The fact that Eloise came to us through recommendations from existing clients is important too. Much of our work comes from long-standing relationships and referrals, and we believe the communication, support and personal service we provide are just as important as the finished website.
